Print Patterns
We require the originals for your advertising print in digital form. Please note the following technical requirements:
Software
Besides Adobe Illustrator 11.0, the programs CorelDraw 11.0 and FreeHand 10.0 can be used to create the file for your print original. Lower versions of these programs can also be used. However, data from word processing and presentation programs like Word and Powerpoint is not suitable for preprints.
Fonts
Fonts used in the print original should be changed into curves or paths.
Images and Logos
Images or logos embedded in a file should always be attached separately as an original file, the logos as a vectorised eps. file. The resolution of images in the print size should be at least 300 dpi, logos at least 600 dpi.

If you wish, we can reprocess your original and edit it to assure perfect printability and produce an optimum print result.
Important Notes
When printing onto different substrate materials like paper, plastics, metals, leather, textiles etc., differences in colour may occur due to the nature of the material.
On dark articles, light and bright colours can often only be produced by printing twice. In such cases preprinting in white is necessary, which will double the print price.
For technical reasons there are some articles on which multicoloured printing is not possible. We'll be happy to speak to you and explain the various options.
It takes about two weeks for the printing inks to harden properly on the articles. Only then is abrasion testing allowed.
Over- or under-delivery by up to 10% is the market norm for print orders. Please allow for this when ordering.
